The treatment room, before anyone arrives.

A room for a conversation, before anything else.

Pulse Atelier is a small studio for laser hair reduction and for skin care that stays cosmetic. It is not a hospital, and the laser is not for sale.

The room is on the second floor of a small building at 40 HaRoe Street in Ramat Gan, a short ride from the Tel Aviv shore. You climb an ordinary stair. There is no ward, no corridor of consulting suites, and no one in a white coat waiting to diagnose you. Noa, Yael, or Amir will meet you by their first name. We keep it that way because a title would suggest a kind of medicine we do not practise.

People come because they would like less hair on an ordinary area of the body: the underarms, the bikini line, the legs, the face, the chest, the back. Women and men are both booked, on the same menu. People also come for a facial, or to have the brows tidied, or to ask whether this is the right room at all. That last reason is a good one. The first hour is a consultation. For laser, a patch test comes before any session. We do not treat you on the day we meet you.

The conversation covers the area you have in mind, the sun your skin has held, and the medicines you take. Some of that is health-adjacent. We write only what we need, we keep it for a short time, and we ask for a clear yes before you send it. The privacy note says how. If something in the conversation gives us pause, the answer is no, and the session does not happen.

Who the hour is for

The studio is for adults who can sit with an uncertain result. Hair reduction, when it helps, usually shows itself slowly: growth that is thinner, or slower, or patchier than before. It does not show itself the same way on every body, and it does not show itself on every visit. A facial here is care of the surface of the skin for an hour, not a remedy for a disease. A brow tidy is a brow tidy. If that is the scale of what you want, you are in the right place.

You do not need to arrive already decided. Many people book only the conversation, look at the room, and go away to think. A message from the website does not hold an hour. We write back, and the hour exists when we confirm it. Saturday the door is locked. Sunday to Thursday the room is open from 10:00 to 19:00, and Friday morning until 13:00, so the week can end without a late appointment.

Who should see a doctor instead

Please take these to a physician, not to us. A mole or a mark that is changing. A rash, a cold sore, an infection, or skin that is open. Pain or bleeding you cannot explain. A question about pregnancy, hormones, fertility, or a medicine someone prescribed. Anything you hope a clinic will name. We will not guess, and we will not photograph it for a file of results. If we notice something that sits outside cosmetic care, we stop and ask you to see a doctor.

We also refuse, even when the wish is only cosmetic. A tan on the area is a refusal, especially after a Tel Aviv weekend at the sea. Some medicines are a refusal. Broken or irritated skin is a refusal. Pregnancy is a refusal for the laser. A wish for a guarantee is a refusal of a different kind: we can decline the premise and still be glad you asked. The full account of how to arrive, and of why a tanned client is asked to come back another week, is on the preparation page.

Summer on this side of the city

From late spring the light here is not a backdrop. It is the reason the diary has holes in it. People come up the stair with salt still in their hair, or with a line on the shoulder from a Saturday on the promenade. The studio is in Ramat Gan, but the life that fills it is Tel Aviv summer: the beach before work, a walk that ran long, a weekend that left the legs a shade darker than the week before. Noa will look at the area and, very often, offer another week rather than the session.

If the skin is browned from the sea, the honest answer is another week.

We would rather lose the hour than work on skin that has just held a lot of sun. We will not hand you a countdown to tick off at home, and we will not pretend the season does not matter. When the colour has settled back toward your own skin, write again. The hour can be found.

What we will not promise

The laser stays in the studio. A trained person operates it. That person is Noa, or Amir on the days Noa is not in. Neither of them is a physician, and the studio does not present them as one. We do not sell the device, rent it, or describe how to use one somewhere else. You will not find settings on this site. You will not find a photograph of someone before and someone after. A picture of another person's skin is not a result you can buy.

What we will say is modest. Over a run of visits, many people see hair grow more slowly, and sometimes finer. Some hair does not respond. Some returns. We do not call any of that permanent removal, and we do not sell a course as if the number of hours were a cure. Visits are often spaced somewhere between four and eight weeks, and longer when the sun has been strong. That is a description of the diary, not a prescription, and not a plan to copy on your own.

You pay for the visit in front of you. The figure on the menu includes VAT at 18 percent. A consultation, including the patch test, is NIS 170, whether or not a later session is offered. If we can see at the door that we should not treat you, we say so before the hour begins and we do not charge for a conversation we did not have.

A short menu

The lists in full are on Laser and Skin. These four lines are the ones people ask for first. One area, one visit, the same price for women and men.

To ask for an hour, use the booking note. It opens WhatsApp. It does not hold a slot, and it does not take payment. If you would rather know the house first, the people and the address are written out, and the rooms are shown without anyone in them.
